5 players made up a team of 17 scorpion members coached by Pete and Rich that made the 200 plus miles down the to the south coast. It was decided that there would be different players and a different environment to the usual northern comps. All players weighed in on the Saturday afternoon and headed to nandos to stock up on chicken and chips!

Southern Taekwondo Championships
Littledown leisure centre Sunday the 16th of May
We are stopping in an apartment 3 miles from the leisure centre
We will be setting of from Wakefield at approximately 12pm on Saturday and we will hope to return to Wakefield for 9pm on Sunday night.
Please ensure players bring the following with them
Licence (you will not be able to compete without)
Suit
towel (this is not my responsibility)
all protective equipment
Tracksuit
Gum shield
Running kit if they are close to the weight
Any problems with any of the above please contact me as soon as possible so we can sort it out. We are going down and making up a team of 17 players from Scorpion Taekwondo as well as representing yourselves and WYST so its bestĀ behaviourĀ all weekend any complaining or protesting to be done thats my job. Scorpion coaches for the weekend will be Rich, Pete, however if needs be Luke Hudson can also coach as he is insured. Everyone going down have competed at opens before so lets work together to get some goo results. It should be a good competition with different people to fight so lets go and enjoy it and bring back some medals
Well it has been a while for some of us in the ring but it was back to it this weekend at the Doncaster Dome all star family fun day. WYST took 7 players over eager to get back into it after a fair bit out of the ring.

Grading
First off was the grading on the Saturday, thank you to all the parents for their support, Sue, Charlotte and Mike for helping to calm nerves and polish up on the kids patterns and of course the student for a good grading.
